Saffron is known to be definitely the most expensive spice in the world and is, at the expense of its cost, widely used worldwide in the kitchen, in very different ways, dependent on the culture and habits of the place. Another very important property of saffron, known since ancient times, is its aphrodisiac ability, appreciated in fact especially in the East, where the available quantities of this spice are much greater than in the other parts of the world. In the West, in fact, because of its prohibitive cost, saffron is used in small quantities only in the kitchen, quantities that do not allow to appreciate the beneficial effects of the same. Suffice it to say, however, that in the eastern regions of the world saffron is used as a substitute for Viagra in all respects.
